3D SYSTEM features

The 3D SYSTEM measures the damaged area with the accuracy of the laser scanner, then it automatically recognizes how many parts and which parts are involved in the process of repairing / replacing (the system automatically decides if a part can be repaired or needs to be replaced).

Objective:

The 3D SYSTEM conforms the claim no matter where it occurs, no matter who has to make the estimation. The classification of the claim is no longer SUBJECTIVE but OBJECTIVE, thus representing a real innovation in this field.

The 3D SYSTEM is worldwide patented and it has been developed, tested and certified in cooperation with three Universities: The DIST (Department of Communication Computer and System Sciences) in Genova (http://www.dist.unige.it), the D.I.A.P.Re.M. (Development of Integrated Automatic Procedures for Restoration of Monuments) in Ferrara (http://www.diaprem.unife.it) , and The National Research Council (CNR) in Pisa (http://www.cnr.it)
